My company held Innovation conference today, during which many Murata branches came to Singapore to share their activities and achievements in production improvement.

As I'm in charge of such activities in Murata Singapore, I strongly feel that such an event is very good!

Most importantly, it can change every participants' mindsets, including top management, production in charge etc. As my 9 months' experience, this is the most important factor contributing to success in improvement activities.

We also learned many new concepts & ideas to do improvement activities, which can never be learned if we only close the door, and do by ourselves.

I'm very glad that our President and other very top management are emphasizing on quality and other improvement activities, which are my job as an Industrial Engineer. :-)


Through this event, I also got to know people from other branches doing similar job with me. We all hope that in future we could communicate more & learn from each other.

BTW, I'll leave for Japan on this Sun., for one week's business trip. I hope I could learn a lot there :-)

毕业半年多了，发现有很多东西没有学好，想去学。有很多事还没有做，想去做。有很多朋友没有联系，想去叙旧……
要是有孙大圣的分身术多好啊！我可以一边看电视，一边上网，一边看书，一边去K歌，一边去打球，一边去爬山，还有，一边去上学……
每天下班以后，到家里吃完饭，再稍微看看报纸，上上网，就没有什么时间了。想学点日语，想看点关于Lean Manufacturing的书，也是没有时间看。
前段时间看了两部武侠剧，更是没有时间干别的了。所以现在真的不敢开始一个新的电视剧了。
也许就像鲁迅先生教导的，时间就像海绵里的水，只要你挤，总会有的。比如说去上班时等车的两分钟，看电视时广告的两分钟～～～
不知道朋友们现在都忙些什么呢？有没有什么计划？大千世界，何去何从啊？
